MOTH's Tree & Plant Survey, 1996

In 1996 MOTH completed a vegetation survey at the Tuggeranong Homestead. Details included individual measurements, assessments and experts' recommendations for preservation and maintenance. A number of significant trees, two Blakely's Red Gums bearing scars of possible Aboriginal origin and some 19th century exotics, were nominated to the Register of the National Estate (AHC) and the Significant Tree Register of the ACT. At the completion of the survey, MOTH published a five-volume report and three volumes of Individual Tree and Plant Records, which was presented to ACT Heritage Unit on 24 March 1997. The reports included:

Report No 1: Tree - Condition and Restoration
Report No 2: Survey Analysis and Recommendations

Report No 3: Tuggeranong Homestead Panorama 1996
Report No 4: Trees Database
Report No 5: Tree and Plant Maps

Individual Tree and Plant Records are listed botanically: A/B, C, D/E, F/H, I/J/L, M/N, P, Q/R, S/T, U/V/Y
